Low self-awareness can lead to us thinking that we have all the answers, when in fact we may not be as good as we think we are. It is OK to admit we don’t have all the answers and, more importantly, to ask for help when we don’t. Good self-awareness reveals to us when we need to do just that. The other point to remember is that, in some people, their low self-awareness may mean that they underestimate their skills and therefore compromise their confidence.
